Designate no-mow areas. Plant wildflowers. We planted last fall, and look at it now. Get closer, and you will see the flower buds are just starting to burst, and the grassy meadow is full of life with tiny pollinators and so much more. It is a complete zoo in a tall grass meadow!

Create native habitats with colorful perennials like this project. Huge gardens transformed from a boring lawn to a few mowed walking paths with colors spring through fall. Plants were chosen specifically for the winter seeds.

You will be amazed at what you discover. This tiny gorgeous creature with orange wings is actually a day-flying moth that happens to love clover. This common moth is the one of the most prolific caterpillar producers which is critical during for bird nestlings. The baby chicks need hundreds of caterpillars during this crucial growing stage of their lives. The tiny caterpillars are inchworms that amused us as children but today’s landscapes are mowed lawns that are not conducive to moth habitats.
